Don’t Dig Up in Doubt, What you Planted in Faith.

So often we get caught out by self-doubt, or a lack of belief that hat we set out to do bears the weight we thought it did. This reminder helps us to still our frantic thought lives, and focus on the intrinsic reason e started anything in the first place. Another way to put it, would simply be: never give up.

Printed on Hahnemuehle paper. Framed in solid walnut. 210mm x 148mm.

I trust that you will truly enjoy your ‘Gentle Reminder’… that it will resonate with your soul and serve to breathe life into the ins-and-outs of your days.

Each piece is composed of 5 levels;

the use of calligraphy, using a dip pen and ink onto Fabriano, to write each Reminder

the placing of pressed flowers (found by the roadside or in our garden and pressed at home using traditional flower pressing methods), alongside the words

the scanning of each image using a flatbed scanner to pick up on the finest details of each flower

the printing of each image on to Hahnemuhle etching paper

the framing and/or packaging of each print… frames are handmade in solid wood (either oak or walnut) by local carpenter Norman Angel.
