Pressed flower art

The art of flower pressing is one thing, but creating pieces of artwork using the craft of flower pressing and the element of design necessary to bring different parts together in an organised and pleasing fashion, is something completely different.

To draw deeper meaning from bringing flower pressings together in different ways without it being mere decoration is a feat – that is, flowers in themselves are beauty enough. Deconstructing flowers and plants and celebrating their different characteristics, eg colour or structure, is the place I go to.
