Botanical specimens, pressed and framed

Flowers from farms and gardens, the veld and the roadside. Picked (with permission where necessary), pressed and preserved (‘immortalised’ ;), mounted on to Fabriano (Italian made 100% cotton paper), and framed in locally handmade solid wood (either oak or walnut) frames.

Honouring the age old craft of flower pressing and allowing each individual specimen to shine, is the purpose here. Pressings on white are classic and clean. Pressings on black are dramatic and vivid. Both work beautifully… see for yourself!
